Counting of votes for 32 Assembly seats in Sikkim began at 6 am, amid tight security arrangements.

The decision Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) has laid out a huge lead in the Sikkim Gathering surveys as vote counting is in progress to determine the destiny for 147 competitors in conflict for 32 Gathering electorates. The resistance Sikkim Popularity based Front has simply figured out how to acquire leads in the Shyari body electorate, structure where it has handled a tuncoat.

The SKM battled the 2024 Gathering races alone as the BJP chose to break the partnership with it.

To give the SKM an extreme battle in the Gathering surveys, Mr. Chamling roped in previous India football skipper Bhaichung Bhutia. Chamling is challenging from two Gathering electorates, Poklok-Kamrang in local Namchi region and Namcheybung in Pakyong area, while Bhutia has been given pass to challenge from Barfung (BL-Held) gathering voting public.
